Inverness Shooting Deaths Called Murder-Suicide

Two people died in a murder-suicide in Inverness on Thursday night, according to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say Richard Glen Stephens, 35, of 900 Kuhns Lane, Lecanto, fatally shot Tara Nagri, 34, of 6156 E. Devon Lane, Inverness, in the driveway of her home, officials said.
The bodies were found about 6 p.m., deputies said. Nagri shared the home with relatives.
Deputies say the two dated years ago before Stephens moved from Citrus County. She returned in July, they say. The two had at least had contact with each other, but authorities aren't sure whether they rekindled their relationship.
Autopsies are scheduled for today at the medical examiner's office in Leesburg.
