The Longleaf Farmer's Market has begun its new weekly schedule, switching from Saturday to Thursday in an effort to attract a greater variety of vendors. It will be open from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursdays through April 26.
The market, started in November, is interested in sellers of fresh local and organic produce, landscaping, indoor plants, coffee beans and teas, sauces, salsas, herbs and spices, seafood, natural pet snacks, and other natural and "green" products.
Easy Entree will have meals and will launch a revised menu offering lighter options.
Business sponsors and community groups also will be added to the family market, which is across from downtown Longleaf at Town Avenue and Starkey Boulevard.
For information about participating in the afternoon event, contact Pam Marron at (727) 375-8986 or pmarron @tampabay.rr.com; or Bret Tobey at (727) 234-0651.
