JACKSONVILLE - This city had its second fatal officer-involved shooting of 2008 when police Tasered then shot a man with a gun.
Police said they thought Addar Uriah Kennedy looked suspicious as he walked in the middle of the road Friday night so they approached him. He ran and when officers caught up with him, a fight broke out between Kennedy, 32, and the officers.
Officer Raymond Sessions saw that Kennedy had a gun and Tasered him. Then, after gunshots were heard, Officer Bryan Goebal shot Kennedy.
No officers were seriously injured.
