Homeless Man's Death In Tampa Called Homicide

TAMPA - The medical examiner today ruled the death of a homeless man found bleeding and unconscious in a doorway late Monday a homicide.
Tampa police have not identified the 44-year-old man because his family has not been notified. They also did not release how the man originally was wounded.
An officer on patrol found the man about 11:30 p.m. Monday, lying in a doorway at 5016 E. 10th Ave., police said.
Police began cardiopulmonary resuscitation and called Tampa Fire Rescue. Their efforts were unsuccessful, police said.
