Regarding "Face-Off Fixes On Florida" by William March (Metro, Feb. 14):
While Hillary Clinton's insistence that Florida and Michigan delegates are counted doesn't surprise me, it angers me just the same. This is just another example of an endless pattern of behavior completely devoid of principle in a shameless attempt for power. And her allies are singing the same, no-substance tune.
NAACP's Julian Bond claimed that not counting the delegates would disenfranchise minority voters. Well, I'm a white guy, and my vote wasn't counted either.
Where was all of this before Clinton won the primary on Jan. 29? It's this kind of beltway shenanigans that compelled my uncounted vote to go for Barack Obama, the only consistent candidate.
The current primary and political system in this country needs serious overhaul, and Florida and Michigan are proof.
