A St. Petersburg Police Department arrest report provided the following account:
The attack began Feb. 7 at 11 p.m. and lasted until 2 a.m. on Feb. 8. Robinson was arrested Friday.
The boy was sleeping in his bed. Robinson taped his wrists and pulled him into the living room and threw him to the floor.
She taped his wrists "above and behind his head" and taped his legs together. She used a cord to secure him to a coffee table to prevent him from escaping.
She refused to let him go to the bathroom and put an empty trash bag underneath him to protect her carpet from getting wet.
She pulled down his pajamas and struck his buttocks with a "long, black flexible object." During the beating, Robinson kept repeating "obey, obey."
The boy suffered injuries but did not require medial treatment.
