ST. LEO - Saint Leo University invites the public to a free concert by the Tampa-based Arpeggione String Quartet at 7:30 tonight.
The program features String Quartet No. 19 in C Major by Mozart, String Quartet No. 6 in F Major by Dvora k, "Ashokan Farewell" by contemporary American composer Jay Ungar, and "Hoe-Down" from Aaron Copland's "Rodeo."
Playing as the Arpeggione String Quartet are Michael de Jesus, first violinist; Saint Leo violin teacher and String Ensemble director Kasia Dolinska, second violinist; Joshua Dampier, violist; and Scott Crowley, cellist.
The group plays for hire at weddings, anniversaries and other parties, banquets, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, awards nights and other celebrations.
Tonight's event, part of the University Concert Series, is in the Student Community Center on the university's main campus, 33701 State Road 52, four miles east of Interstate 75 (Exit 285). Parking is available on campus.
