Published: February 18, 2008

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Jeff Teague scored 26 points and Wake Forest shocked No. 2 Duke 86-73 on Sunday night, ending the Blue Devils' 12-game winning streak and giving first-year coach Dino Gaudio his first big victory as the heir of the late Skip Prosser's program.

James Johnson added 24 points for the Demon Deacons (16-8, 6-5 ACC), who claimed their first victory against a top-five team since they also knocked off the then-No. 4 Blue Devils on Feb. 2, 2005.

Wake Forest won its third straight, improved to 14-1 on its home court and snapped a five-game losing streak in the series on the strength of a 17-2 run midway through the second half and some smothering defense, forcing the Blue Devils (22-2, 10-1) into a season-high 22 turnovers.

NOTRE DAME 71, RUTGERS 68: Tory Jackson had 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds, and No. 20 Notre Dame handed host Rutgers its sixth straight loss.
Kyle McAlarney added 16 points, including two free throws after Rutgers blew an offensive rebound while down a point with about 10 seconds to play, to help the Irish (19-5, 9-3 Big East) win for the 17th time in 20 games.
Rob Kurz added 11 points and 14 rebounds, and Luke Harangody had 10 points and eight rebounds as the Irish rebounded from a loss to No. 17 Connecticut on Wednesday.

Anthony Farmer had 16 points and JR Inman added 14 points for Rutgers (10-17, 2-12), which saw a game-tying 3-pointer by Corey Chandler miss badly late.

MIAMI 64, GEORGIA TECH 63: Jack McClinton sank the go-ahead 3-pointer, his sixth of the game, with 45 seconds left and Miami (17-7, 4-6 ACC) held on in the final seconds for a win against host Georgia Tech (11-13, 4-6).

MEMPHIS-UAB AFTERMATH: Conference USA officials said Sunday they were investigating what happened after top-ranked Memphis' 79-78 victory against UAB in Birmingham, Ala., where the Tigers were showered with debris after avoiding an upset.
