With their needs established and the Combine starting Thursday, here is a look at how the Bucs' draft could go this year. Keep in mind that the draft is not until April 26-27, a lot can change between now and then and the Bucs always do a very good job of filling their needs through free agency in order to have more options on draft day.
| Rd. | Pick | Player | Pos. | School | Comment |
| 1 | 20 | Early Doucet | WR | LSU | Finally, a big-play threat to complement Galloway |
| 2 | 52 | Joe Flacco | QB | Delaware | The Bucs' new quarterback of the future |
| 3 | 84 | Patrick Lee | CB | Auburn | A tough kid perfectly suited for the Cover 2 scheme |
| 4 | 116 | Allen Patrick | RB | Oklahoma | A strong runner who eventually can replace Pittman as the "joker" back |
| 5 | 148 | Kellen Davis | TE | Michigan State | The Bucs have had their eyes on this all-around TE since the Senior Bowl |
| 6 | 180 | Andrew Crummey | G | Maryland | If he can stay healthy, he'll have a solid career as at least an NFL backup |
| 7 | 212 | Josh Morgan | WR | Virginia Tech | Another receiver/return specialist; the Bucs can't have too many of them |
