Regarding "Company Pulls Plug On Jihadist Web Site" (Metro, Feb. 20):
According to a tiny article in the Metro section, a Web site considered to be "al-Qaida supporters' oldest and most stable Web sites" was dismantled on Tuesday. This site was hosted by a Tampa firm and running unabated for an unknown amount of time.
How could the Department of Homeland Security, created in 2001, not be aware of jihadists running a Web site on American soil? And here I am at the airport pulling off my shoes, taking off my belt and sweating bullets remembering, at the last minute, the "adult-sized" tube of toothpaste in my toiletry kit!
