The following recalls have been announced:
•About 2,900 children's metal necklaces made in China by Pecoware Co., because the necklaces contain high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by children. No injuries or incidents have been reported.
The recalled necklaces are those decorated with a cat with silver and pink rhinestones, a heart and lock with pink rhinestones, a silver-colored heart with a rhinestone crown, and a silver-colored lock and key.
The cat necklace was sold from January 2006 to July; the others were sold from July through November. They were sold at department and specialty stores nationwide. Consumers can call 1-800-456-7326 or go to www.pecoware.com or www.cpsc.gov.
•About 250,000 Fun 'n Safe magnetic dartboards imported by Family Dollar and made in China, because small magnets at the ends of the darts can detach and be swallowed by young children. If more than one magnet is swallowed, they can attract each other and cause internal damage.
No injuries or incidents have been reported. The dartboards were sold at Family Dollar stores nationwide from January 2001 through last month.
