DADE CITY - Kylie Williams, Miss Florida, will be the mistress of ceremonies at tonight's Miss Pasco County Pageant, held in conjunction with the 61st annual Pasco County Fair.
Williams, a senior at Florida State University, will introduce eight contestants who will vie for two titles: Miss Pasco County and Miss Pasco County Fair. Both winners will advance to the Miss Florida Pageant, where Williams won her crown last year to advance to the 2008 Miss America Pageant.
Since the local pageant is affiliated with the Miss America Scholarship Program, contestants must compete in the same categories of evening gown, swimsuit, talent, interview and onstage question, a news release stated. The contestants also must have a personal platform.
This year's Miss Pasco County/Miss Pasco County Fair contestants are:
Kyra Rookey, 17, of Dade City, performing a comedy monologue;
Aubrey Teston, 19, of Land O' Lakes, performing a Broadway jazz dance;
Kayli Sherouse, 18, of Dade City, performing a lyrical dance;
Lisa Noury, 19, of Zephyrhills, performing a monologue;
Leja Apple, 18, of St. Petersburg, clogging;

Irma Orona, 18, of Dade City, singing.
The pageant is at 7 p.m. today at Dan Cannon Auditorium.

Contestants must be between the ages of 13 and 17 and compete in evening gown, interview, talent, sportswear, and onstage question.
The Miss Outstanding Teen Pasco contestants are:
Caitlin Brooke Eakley, 14, of Zephyrhills;
