Busch Entertainment Corp., which operates Busch Gardens in Tampa, plans an announcement this morning in Orlando that some analysts expect will involve building a theme park in China.
Analysts from The Motley Fool and HSBC Securities were quoted Wednesday in a Florida Today report that Busch may be considering an international expansion of its theme park enterprises in China, which could help international sales of Busch's beverage lines.
Busch officials have declined comment about today's announcement, slated for 11 a.m.
On Saturday, the company plans to open a theme park in Orlando called Aquatica. It also plans to open Busch Gardens Tampa Jungala attraction April 5.
