WINTER HAVEN - One person is confirmed dead in a fire that began about 7 a.m. today at a mobile at 1256 N.W. 37th St. in the Inwood neighborhood.

The man has not been identified, fire officials said, adding that he appears to be about 55 years old.

The cause of the fire is unknown, and firefighters still are on the scene, Polk County Fire Department officials said.

The body has not been removed from the trailer, they said.
