TAMPA - Popular Ybor City activist Victor DiMaio Sr., who died a week ago at 83, will be laid to rest today after a reception this morning in his honor.
The reception will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 3012 West Cherry Street in Tampa. A Catholic mass service is set for 1 p.m. The family plans a private burial after the mass.
