Durivou reported spotting Agregaard at the Main Street Food Mart on Friday evening as Agregaard was arguing with his sister. Agregaard threatened to shoot a man and then kill himself and pulled out a silver revolver to underscore his point, the officer wrote.

Fearing that Agregaard was about to shoot his sister, Durivou unholstered his own side arm and trained it on Agregaard while ordering him to drop his weapon, the officer reported. Agregaard told the officer to "shut up" and then ran from the scene through the neighbors' back yards, the report states.

Agregaard was later found unarmed and unrepentant at a home on Madison Street from which he was placing threatening telephone calls to his sister, the patrolman reported.

Upon his arrest on charges of being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, domestic aggravated assault with a weapon, resisting arrest and failing to register as a sexual offender, Agregaard told the officer he would "tell me where the gun is when he is ready," the report states. Agregaard also told Durivou that the officer should have shot him when he had the chance, according to the report.

Agregaard remained in the Land O' Lakes Jail on Saturday with bail set at $40,100 on the four charges, according to the Pasco Sheriff's Office Web site.
