SEMINOLE - A car crashed into a bar at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, injuring the driver slightly but not anyone in the pub, according to authorities and the bar owner.
The driver, Robert Ruskino, 45, of Clearwater, was taken to Largo Medical Center with minor injuries, said Larry Coggins, spokesman for the Florida Highway Patrol.
Ruskino lost control of his 2001 Dodge Intrepid before crashing into Rockwell's Pub at 10801 Starkey Road in the Bardmoor Village shopping plaza, Coggins said.
The pub's owner, John Killian, said damage was roughly $25,000.
Killian said three-fourths of the car crashed through the pub's plate glass. One patron had to jump out of the way as a table came crashing his way, Killian said, but neither he nor the eight other patrons were injured, he said.
A Florida Highway Patrol investigation is ongoing.
