WEST PALM BEACH - Hundreds of students are back in a West Palm Beach school after a bomb squad determined a suspicious device in a classroom was a clock.
Palm Beach County sheriff's spokesman Paul Miller said about 650 students and 100 staff members at The Summit Christian School were evacuated Monday morning.
Miller says the device turned out to be a small clock timer that was ticking and beeping behind a teacher's desk.
Authorities are still investigating whether the device was placed there intentionally.
