Bradenton Teenager Accused Of Stabbing Rabbit

EAST MANATEE - A teenager is accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend's rabbit with a pair of scissors and tossing the animal on the floor, Manatee County sheriff's deputies said today.
Authorities arrested Elizabeth Rockley, 19, on charges of armed burglary, criminal mischief and animal cruelty.
Rockley, deputies said, took a taxi to her former boyfriend's home in the 1700 block of Lena Road on this afternoon. She got word that the boy was spreading rumors about her, according to sheriff's reports.
Rockley slashed the boy's tires with the pair of scissors, authorities say, before stabbing the rabbit — a gift from Rockley to the boy. Rockley stabbed the teen in his back during the argument. The injury was minor.
