NEW PORT RICHEY - The art of Patrick Stickney hangs on city hall's walls through Jan. 29.
His exhibition inside the Main Street structure features contemporary expressionistic paintings inspired by dreams, visions, emotions and ancient myths.
Stickney received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of New York at Buffalo, where he also focused on communications, art history and creative writing. He has received regional, national and international awards for creative excellence in art direction, design and copywriting in print and broadcast media.
His paintings have been displayed in New York, Los Angeles, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, N.Y., and in private collections across the country.
