DURHAM, N.C. - Chante Black had 19 points, nine rebounds and four blocks to lead the 12th-ranked Duke women to a 70-38 win over Florida State on Friday night.
Reserve Bridgette Mitchell added 10 points for Duke, which gave Coach Joanne P. McCallie her first Atlantic Coast Conference win at home.
The Blue Devils took advantage of a horrendous shooting night for the Seminoles (11-6, 1-1) to pick up their 23rd straight home victory, the longest active streak in the nation.
Florida State shot 23.4 percent.
The easy win was a tuneup for the Blue Devils, who travel to No. 4 Maryland on Monday for what will be their first big test in the ACC this season.
The Blue Devils took an early 12-10 lead - 10 of those points coming from Black - before Florida State went nearly six minutes without a bucket, allowing the Blue Devils (13-3, 2-0) to take control.
