MIAMI BEACH - South Beach is known for its celebrity status, so you can be sure you'll see plenty of familiar faces at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival - Paula Dean, Emeril Lagasse and Rachael Ray among them.
Those names make sense, considering Food Network is one of the main sponsors of the event, which runs from Feb. 20 to 24.
Events range from the healthful (seminars on how to keep children and their parents fit) to decadent (champagne, wine, sake and whiskey tastings).
Ray will host a burger bash, a banquet will honor international celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and chef Ming Tsai will lead a golf tournament.
Costs range from $35 for a children's event with TV star Giada De Laurentiis to $500 for the golf invitational. Meals range from $150 for a Saturday brunch to $500 for the Vongerichten tribute.
After-hours parties featuring poker, champagne and vodka go on each night until as late as 2 a.m.
