WENDOLYN JO ERNEST
Hillsborough County deputies arrested Wendolyn Jo Ernest, 33, about 1:55 a.m. at Interstate 75 and Fowler Avenue.
Ernest's Mercury was stopped on the shoulder of the interstate ramp, and a deputy came to check on her welfare, a criminal arrest affidavit says. Ernest smelled of alcohol, had watery eyes and slurred her speech. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
A breath analysis says she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.135 and 0.139, according to the affidavit. Florida law presumes a person is impaired at 0.08.

She remained in Orient Road Jail on Sunday. Her bail was set at $4,500.
