TAMPA - Investigators have resumed their search for Sandra Prince, who has been missing for two years.
True-Line Coring & Cutting of Tampa just arrived on the scene.
The company saws and drills holes in concrete, President Matt Alexander said. Alexander would not comment on what his company will do in the house.
Investigators spent three days last week searching for the Temple Terrace woman without announcing any significant finds. They did not search Sunday.
Investigators are searching a South Tampa home at 3908 Vasconia St. that was being built by Prince's boyfriend at the time of her disappearance in January 2006.
The concrete worker used a dolly to move the blocks that were cut out. Each block – about a foot wide and a foot thick – weighed 150 pounds, he said. An air conditioning company was called to do some work late this afternoon.
Temple Terrace police dug up the backyard in October, and that effort provided probable cause for a second search warrant, Temple Terrace Police Department spokesman Mike Dunn said.
Both times, cadaver dogs were brought in to aid in the effort.
Investigators are inside the home today, according to Tampa police. The home is vacant and is for sale.
