BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Eric Gordon and No. 10 Indiana stuck it to Illinois again.
The high-scoring freshman, who reneged on an oral commitment with the Illini and signed instead with the Hoosiers, had 17 points and Indiana rallied from a seven-point deficit in the second half to beat Illinois 62-58 Sunday.
It was Indiana's 10th straight victory and 27th in a row at home.
Big Ten rebounding leader D.J. White added 15 points and 10 boards, and Armon Bassett had all 11 of his points in the second half for the Hoosiers (14-1, 3-0). Shaun Pruitt led Illinois (8-9, 0-4) with 14 points.
DUKE 87, VIRGINIA 65: DeMarcus Nelson scored 20 points to lead No. 9 Duke (13-1, 1-0) past Virginia (10-4, 0-1) in the ACC opener for both teams.
Gerald Henderson added 18 points and Kyle Singler scored 13 for the Blue Devils, who never trailed.
RHODE ISLAND 80, DUSQUESNE 78: Will Daniels matched a season-high with 28 points and Jimmy Baron hit a fadeaway jump shot with just over 3 seconds left to give No. 22 Rhode Island (15-2, 1-1) a come-from-behind win against Duquesne (11-4, 1-1).
OREGON 71, STANFORD 66: Maarty Leunen scored 16 points, and Oregon used an 8-0 run in the final two minutes to beat No. 23 Stanford.
Malik Hairston and Tajuan Porter each added 15 points for the Ducks (12-4, 3-1), who beat the Cardinal (13-3, 2-2) for only the third time in 13 meetings.

Mountaineers Hold Off Fighting Irish Again
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Meg Bulger scored 17 points and Yinka Sanni added 15 as No. 16 West Virginia held off No. 14 Notre Dame 56-50 in a Big East game.
The Mountaineers (12-3, 2-1) led 31-11 at the half, holding the Irish to a school-record low in first-half scoring.
It was West Virginia's second win over Notre Dame in 17 games. The Irish (13-3, 1-1) lost to a ranked foe for the third time in as many games this season.
TENNESSEE 71, SOUTH CAROLINA 48: Shannon Bobbitt scored 20 points, Candace Parker added 15 and No. 2 Tennessee (14-1, 2-0) beat South Carolina in the Lady Vols' 35th straight win against the Gamecocks (11-6, 0-2).
NORTH CAROLINA 79, NORTH CAROLINA STATE 70: Erlana Larkins had 22 points and eight rebounds to help third-ranked North Carolina (16-1, 3-0) defeat North Carolina State (12-5, 0-2).
AUBURN 82, GEORGIA 52: DeWanna Bonner had 21 points and 13 rebounds and No. 22 Auburn snapped a three-game losing streak with a win against No. 10 Georgia.
The victory was the Tigers' first against a Top 10 team in five years. Auburn (13-4, 1-1) had five players score in double figures and held the Lady Bulldogs (14-2, 1-1) to 30 percent shooting.
LSU 62, VANDERBILT 51: Sylvia Fowles scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help No. 11 LSU (13-3, 2-0) beat Vanderbilt (12-5, 1-1).
KANSAS STATE 77, TEXAS 74: Shalee Lehning scored 21 points to lead Kansas State (10-5, 2-0) to an overtime upset of No. 15 Texas (12-4, 0-2) in the Longhorns' Big 12 home opener.
Lehning fouled out with 1:24 remaining in the overtime period, but Kimberly Dietz made two free throws with 3 seconds left to seal the win.
GEORGE WASHINGTON 56, XAVIER 46: Jessica Adair scored 15 points and Kimberly Beck added 12 to help No. 17 George Washington (13-3, 1-0) beat Xavier (10-6, 0-1).
OLD DOMINION 82, JAMES MADISON 57: T.J. Jordan scored 18 points, including a 14-point surge in the second half, to lead Old Dominion (12-3, 3-0) to victory against James Madison (9-5, 2-1).
OHIO STATE 77, NORTHWESTERN 55: Marscilla Packer scored 18 points and Jantel Lavender added 15 points and 12 rebounds to help No. 19 Ohio State (13-3, 4-1) beat Northwestern (4-13, 0-5).
MISSISSIPPI 63, ARKANSAS 55: Shawn Goff had 18 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots to help Mississippi (7-8, 1-1) upset No. 20 Arkansas (15-2, 0-2).
IOWA STATE 84, COLORADO 77: Alison Lacey scored 11 of her 27 points in the second overtime and Iowa State (12-3, 1-1) snapped No. 23 Colorado's 11-game winning streak.
