LARGO - Police are looking for two men who used stolen credit cards from a vehicle they burglarized at a gym's parking lot at 2178 East Bay Drive.
The two suspects broke in to the vehicle Jan. 5 and took a woman's purse. The victim was inside Lifestyle Family Fitness at the time of the burglary, from 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The two men took the credit cards and went to the Wal-Mart on U.S. 19 in Pinellas Park, police say. At 7:28 p.m. and 7:48, the unidentified suspects used the credit cards at the store.
One of the suspects was denied a purchase of a digital camera and a DVD player. The credit card used already had been reported stolen, police said. The other suspect was able to buy $400 in Wal-Mart gift cards that were used at another location.
The suspects left in a white Chevy Suburban. Police are asking the public for help in identifying them.
The suspects may be involved in other auto burglaries, police said.
Anyone with additional information is asked to call Detective Corey Monaghan of the Largo Police Department at (727) 586-7480.
