A surveillance camera captured images of the suspect stealing the donation box from a McDonald’s on January 8.

A man broke into a Lakeland McDonald's restaurant and stole a donation box intended for Ronald McDonald charities, the Polk County Sheriff Office said.
The theft occurred at the McDonald's at 4721 South Florida Avenue around 2:33 a.m. Jan. 8.
The suspect, identified only as a white male, then fled the restaurant the same way he entered it, through a lower metal panel of the front window that he broke. He can be seen on video surveillance, wearing a plaid shirt and dark-colored pants.
