Pedestrian Fatally Struck Crossing Bruce B. Downs

TAMPA – An 80-year-old woman was fatally struck while crossing Bruce B. Downs Boulevard at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Corrine Ray was crossing Bruce B. Downs east to west at Richmond Place Drive when she was struck by 2008 BMW heading north on Bruce B. Downs, police said. She died at the scene.
The driver was going the speed limit, according to the police report.
