BOSTON - Tyrelle Blair had 11 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks on Tuesday night and Rakim Sanders scored 20 points as Boston College beat No. 21 Miami 76-66 - the Eagles' 12th consecutive victory over the Hurricanes.
Tyrese Rice had 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists to help BC (12-4, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) beat a ranked opponent for the first time since last February.
Jack McClinton scored 20 points on 6-for-26 shooting for Miami, which had won consecutive games since it lost to Winthrop on Dec. 29 to snap a season-opening 12-game winning streak. James Dews scored 15 points for the Hurricanes (14-2, 1-1).
Miami, which leads the ACC in 3-point percentage, were just 8-of-26 from beyond the arc, 3-of-13 in the first half.
MICHIGAN ST. 66, OHIO ST. 60: Drew Neitzel scored eight of 13 points in the first half, helping No. 11 Michigan State (15-2, 3-1 Big Ten) start strong in a victory over the visiting Buckeyes (12-5, 3-2).
Jamar Butler scored 21 points for Ohio State, but none of his teammates scored more than eight points.
Michigan State reserve Kalin Lucas scored 13 points and Drew Naymick had 11.
WISCONSIN 80, PENN ST. 55: Michael Flowers scored 23 points and No. 17 Wisconsin's defense stifled Penn State as the Badgers ran their winning streak to eight games.
Marcus Landry added 16 points and Brian Butch had nine points and 12 rebounds a Wisconsin (14-2, 4-0 Big Ten) won its seventh straight against Penn State (10-6, 2-2).
Nittany Lions leading scorer Geary Claxton injured his left knee while going for a rebound in the first half and did not return.
CLEMSON 70, N.C. STATE 54: Terrence Oglesby had four 3-pointers as No. 24 Clemson (14-3, 2-1 ACC) beat the visiting Wolfpack (11-5, 0-2).
Oglesby's long-range touch began a run of six consecutive first-half 3s for Clemson that turned a three-point game into a 32-21 lead.
Cliff Hammonds led Clemson with 14 points, Trevor Booker had 13 and Oglesby 12.
OKLAHOMA: Freshman standout Blake Griffin could miss as much as four weeks after spraining a ligament in his left knee.
The 6-foot-10 forward leads Oklahoma in scoring (15.4) and rebounding (9.1).
UAB: Forward Walter Sharpe has been declared academically ineligible and will miss the rest of the season.
The 6-foot-9, 245-pound junior averaged 14.2 points and 6.8 rebounds in 12 games.
