Murder-Suicide Deemed Likely In 2 Mulberry Deaths

The two people found dead in Mulberry on Wednesday appear to be murder-suicide victims, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The bodies of Donald Burnell Crissinger III, 34, of 3320 Dove Lane, Mulberry, and Courtney Douglas Stone, 24, of 630 Fox Lake Drive, Lakeland, were found at Crissinger's Dove Lane home.
The two are said to have been a couple.
Crissinger's mother, also of the Dove Lane address, found them shot to death in his bedroom, sheriff's spokeswoman Donna Wood said.
When Stone didn't show up for work at Lone Star Steakhouse in Lakeland on Wednesday, her employers called a relative who then called Crissinger's mother.
Autopsies are scheduled, Wood said.
