Police are looking for a driver who left the scene of a crash that killed a motorcycle driver early Saturday.
Police said a 1996 Toyota was being driven south on 29th Street North at 22nd Avenue North when the male driver turned left and crossed into the path of an oncoming Honda motorcycle driven by Matthew Alan Jeroski, 32.
Jeroski was driving west toward the intersection when the Toyota either failed to stop or failed to yield the right of way. He was ejected onto the hood of the Toyota and slid onto the ground. The St. Petersburg resident was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota ran away, police said. No description was available.
