Couple Injured In Car Crash

SEMINOLE – A couple were seriously injured today after their car struck a power pole, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened about noon at Johnson and Seminole boulevards, said Marianne Pasha, a sheriff's spokeswoman.
Robert E. Kuenn, 83, of 1344 Highfield Drive, was driving a 1998 Buick east on Johnson when he ran a red light and hit a pole, she said.
Kuenn and his 83-year-old wife, Joan, were taken to Largo Medical Center, Pasha said. Robert Kuenn's injuries might be life-threatening, she said.
