Packers RB Ryan Grant vs. Giants LB Antonio Pierce
Grant rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns against Seattle last week, so Pierce has the simple task of making sure that record-setting performance is not repeated. Grant has rushed for 100 or more yards six times this season, and Green Bay has won five of those games. Pierce will have to follow Grant's every move, but most of his pursuits could be from behind.
ADVANTAGE: Grant
Packers QB Brett Favre vs. Giants CB Corey Webster
Giants cornerback Sam Madison has missed the past two games with a pulled stomach muscle, and backup Kevin Dockery could not play against Dallas because of a hip flexor injury. That means Corey Webster, who had a key interception against the Bucs in the wild-card playoff game, will be asked to stop Greg Jennings or Donald Driver, two of the NFL's elite receivers. Expect Favre to pick on Webster, or whichever recovering cornerback plays at that position, to exploit a potential mismatch.
ADVANTAGE: Favre
