Rachel Rosales and TK Erwin finished first in The Last Frontier to win CBS' "The Amazing Race" and the reality TV show's $1 million prize.

During the around-the-world race's final leg in Anchorage, Alaska, the couple from Huntington Beach, Calif., searched through tanks filled with live crabs, scaled the side of a glacier, soared through the air in a helicopter and solved a complicated puzzle before crossing the finish line at Girdwood Airport.

"Nice guys can definitely finish first," the dreadlocked Erwin said after their win.

Erwin, 22, and Rosales, 23, outraced father-and-daughter team Ronald and Christina Hsu and grandfather-and-grandson team Donald Jerousek and Nicolas Fulks during the race's final leg.

"I knew it was going to be crucial to stay calm," Rosales said, referring to the complex puzzle composed of objects from previous challenges that contestants had to figure out before racing to the finish line.

In the 12th edition of "Race," racers trekked from the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles through Ireland, the Netherlands, Burkina Faso, Lithuania, Croatia, Italy, India, Japan and Taiwan to their final destination.

MORE "BACHELORETTE": ABC is starting to make a habit out of resurrecting presumed-dead reality series.

On the heels of announcing that "The Mole" will return to its airwaves this summer, the network also is preparing another edition of "The Bachelorette."

Like "The Mole," the new "Bachelorette" has been absent from the airwaves for several years. The most recent installment ended in March 2005, when Jen Schefft chose to be single rather than continue a relationship with either of the two final guys.

The show is expected to premiere in the summer.

"HOUSE" ACTRESS TO LIFETIME: Her time somewhat freer with "House" not in production, Lisa Edelstein has signed on to star in a movie for Lifetime.

Edelstein, who plays Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the Fox series, will star with Brenda Song ("The Suite Life of Zack and Cody") in "Special Delivery," which will premiere on the Lifetime Movie Network. It's slated for a late 2008 debut, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film centers on Edelstein's character, a courier named Maxine, who regularly shuttles between the West Coast and Asia. Her latest run finds her transporting not a thing but a person - snotty teenager Alice (Song), who's traveling from her father's home in China to her mother's in the United States.

Along the way, Maxine realizes that bad things await Alice when she lands.

Matt Dearborn, the creator of "Even Stevens" and a former "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Early Edition" writer, penned the script. Michael Scott, a veteran of several Lifetime movies including "Her Sister's Keeper" and "Murder on Pleasant Drive," will direct.

MUSIC ON TUBE: Tossing aside conventional wisdom that musical programming isn't a ratings bonanza, CBS has made plans to broadcast concerts by superstars Garth Brooks and Celine Dion.

Up first will be "Garth Brooks: Live in LA!" The hourlong event will air live at 9 p.m. Friday. The show will be the first of Brooks' five shows in two days at the Staples Center.

You probably couldn't get tickets to the Brooks concert, which will raise money for F.I.R.E. (Fire Intervention Relief Effort) in California. Ducats for the top-selling solo artist in U.S. history sold out in less than an hour.

Expect the Dion concert to be a more produced affair since "Celine Dion: That's Just the Woman in Me" will be an hourlong program based on a show Dion did at Los Angeles' Wiltern Theatre on Jan. 12. It was her first concert after ending a five-year run with "A New Day" in Las Vegas.

Set to air Feb. 15, "That's Just the Woman in Me" will find Dion singing past hits such as "My Heart Will Go On," as well as songs off her current album, "Taking Chances." Guests include will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and Josh Groban.
