Husband, Wife Die In Apparent Murder-Suicide

Jeffrey Woodworth fatally shot his wife, Leona, Wednesday afternoon and then turned the gun on himself in their home at 52 Joel Massey Road, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies are investigating the apparent murder-suicide. Deputies found the bodies of Leona Woodworth, 41, and Jeffrey Woodworth, 46, in the house.
Jeffrey Woodworth was recently released from state prison on driving under the influence charges. Arrest records show he has been arrested at least four times on charges of driving under the influence in Polk County.
