CINCINNATI - Eleven in a row and no slowing down for No. 5 Rutgers.
Kia Vaughn scored a season-high 17 points, and Heather Zurich added a career-high 16 on Tuesday night, leading the Scarlet Knights (16-2, 6-0) to a 71-41 victory over Cincinnati (10-8, 1-5) that extended their longest winning streak in two years.
With its versatile offense and stifling defense, Rutgers has won its last 11 games, its best streak since it ran off 13 in a row in 2005-06.
The Scarlet Knights are off to their best start overall in 17 years.
PITTSBURGH 70, ST. JOHN'S 64: Shavonte Zellous scored 28 points and No. 19 Pittsburgh (15-3, 5-0 Big East) won its ninth straight game with a victory at St. John's (10-8, 1-4).
DePAUL 81, NOTRE DAME 80: Deidre Naughton scored 20 points and visiting DePaul (14-4, 3-2 Big East) shot a season-high 60 percent to beat No. 16 Notre Dame (15-4, 3-2).
