LAKELAND Jeff Choquette won the rain-delayed NOS Energy Drink 200 presented by Goodyear and was crowned 2008 Speedfest champion at USA International Speedway on Sunday.
"Wow, I've got to thank the crew for the pit calls," Choquette said. "That made all the difference this weekend."
Second went to polesitter Ryan Lawler, of Colleyville, Ohio, followed by Shane Sawyer, of Buford, Ga.; and Orlando's David Rogers. NASCAR driver Kyle Busch hung on for the fifth spot.
The Rusty Wallace-backed David Stremme car exited the race early with motor troubles.
The ASA Crate Late-Model Challenge was won by Sean Murphy of Indianapolis. He was followed by Kris Stump, of Tipp City, Ohio; Jimmy Lang, of Bluffton, S.C.; Travis Wilson of Bartow; and D.J. Shaw, of Center Conway, N.H.
