Woman Survives Fall From Bridge

TAMPA - A woman was plucked out of Tampa Bay after she either fell or jumped off the Howard Frankland Bridge shortly at 7:40 p.m. tonight, Tampa Fire Rescue said.

A Tampa police helicopter got her to shore, Fire Rescue Capt. Bill Wade said. She is being cared for by Pinellas emergency units, Wade said.
