107 Gasparilla Arrests Logged

TAMPA - Police say 107 people were arrested during the weekend's Gasparilla celebration.

Eleven felonies were reported along with 96 misdemeanors, including nine charges of boating under the influence, according to the Tampa Police Department. Law enforcement agencies were still updating figures Monday and the number of arrests could rise.

Arresting agencies aside from Tampa police were the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
