The woman thought to have been abducted at gunpoint by her husband Tuesday morning in Brooksville has been found at Flagler Hospital in St. Johns County, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office said about 4 p.m.
The condition of Donna Sue Moats, 35, was not immediately available. She had surgery Tuesday for a gunshot wound, Hernando County sheriff's spokeswoman Donna Black said.
Her husband, Randolph Mark Moats, 39, was arrested in St. Johns County after a foot chase, the sheriff's office said.
Donna Moats was forced into a green 1994 Jeep about 11 a.m. Tuesday in Brooksville and called her daughter to say she had been shot, the sheriff's office said.
Daughter Samantha Moats, 19, told News Channel 8 that her mother "felt like she was going to die."
Her parents have been fighting for about a month because Donna Moats wants a divorce, Samantha Moats said.
