Paramedic Accused Of Molesting Patient In Ambulance

CLEARWATER A SunStar paramedic was arrested Wednesday, accused of molesting a patient in an ambulance on its way to a hospital, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.
Patrick Livingston, 38, of 405 Oakmont Road, Clearwater, was charged with one count of sexual battery.
The female patient told detectives she was molested June 26 when she was touched "in a manner which was inappropriate and not medically necessary for her condition," the sheriff's office said in a news release.
The patient's name was not released by the sheriff's office because she is considered the victim of a sex crime.
SunStar is the trade name for emergency services in Pinellas County.
Livingston was being held Wednesday night at Pinellas County Jail on $50,000 bail.
