Tasty Morsels On TV This Week

"Guy's Big Bite," 2 p.m. today, Food Network

Guy Fieri - the Food Network's new Rachael Ray - explores "Far Out Far East Finger Food." The Asian-inspired party dishes include pulled pork egg rolls, Korean-style chicken wings and a "Saigon sub," a delicious concoction that includes 2 pounds of pork butt, soy and chili-garlic sauces, white vinegar, cucumbers, olive oil, mint and cilantro and Sriracha sauce on hoagie rolls.

"Secrets of a Restaurant Chef," 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Food Network

If you've watched Mario Batali battle on "Iron Chef: America," you've seen his spiky blond sous chef, Anne Burrell, the executive chef at Centro Vinoteca in New York. She's also worked with Lidia Bastianich and taught at the Institute of Culinary Education. Now with her show, Burrell aims to teach restaurant techniques and "professional secrets" for preparing flavorful food.

"Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations," 10 p.m. Monday, Travel Channel

Bourdain kicks off a new season of his culinary travelogue with a visit to Laos. "Just about anywhere you point your camera in Laos, you see something beautiful and extraordinary," Bourdain wrote on his Travel Channel blog. "It's one of the few countries on Earth still barely touched by Western chains. There are No McDonalds. No Starbucks. No KFCs. Anywhere. Even in the sleepy capitol city of Vientiane. The food is spicy and mostly delicious and just about everyone we speak to is warm, generous and remarkably open about their lives, their hopes, their joys and their often considerable pain." That makes for some good TV.

"Hell's Kitchen," 9 p.m. Tuesday, Fox

The winner of the executive chef gig at Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant is named. The finalists: catering director and part-time slob Louis Petrozza, and culinary student Christina Machamer, who has done well on the show despite her lack of experience (she burned Ramsay twice during a recent episode).
