NEW PORT RICHEY - Dozens of children ages 2 to 11 helped Morton Plant North Bay Hospital employees get in the patriotic spirit with a parade on the hospital's first floor Thursday.
The children were from Solid Step Learning Center and Little Lambs Preschool. They were torn between two themes, so some of the children were dressed in red, white and blue costumes, and others wore yellow in support of U.S. troops.
The children sang songs and handed out candy and American flags as they marched to celebrate the Fourth of July. Jerry Massey, director of operations at the hospital, led the parade.
