Barrett Examined In San Diego

SAN DIEGO - Padres catcher Michael Barrett returned to San Diego and was examined at Scripps Clinic on Thursday, a day after fouling a ball off his face at Colorado.
Barrett, who is believed to have a broken nose, was hospitalized overnight in Denver.
The Padres were off Thursday.
Barrett left Wednesday night's game in the third inning after fouling a ball off his face.
