Teens Kick Off Club In Character

C.J. Smith, a teen advisory board member at Land O' Lakes Branch Library, plays the character L from "Death Note" during the library's first Metamorphosis summer reading club activity, where teens dressed as anime characters for the live-action anime clue game.

The game was the kickoff for the summer reading club, where teens pledge to read at least six books before the end of summer.

Teens who complete at least six books can get prizes and will be invited to a lock-in at the end of summer.

In addition to other activities, the teen advisory board will have a Teen Charity Car Wash from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 26 at the library to help raise money to fund more teen programs.
