An argument between roommates over what police said was drugs and money sent two men to a hospital and one to jail on charges he used a baseball bat to settle the disagreement.
The Pinellas County deputies arrested Paul Lillie, 45, on Saturday afternoon and charged him with two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Deputies were called to the home Lillie shared with two other men on Euclid Circle, Largo about 5:40 p.m. after a friend of one victim discovered the beatings, the sheriff's office said.
The men were arguing over drugs and money when Lillie picked up a bat and beat roommates Michael Woods, 46, and Daniel Snelser, 48, the sheriff's office said.
Both men had what police called serious injuries to their head and face, though not life threatening. Snelser was taken to Tampa General Hospital and Woods was taken to Bayfront Medical Center.
Lillie remained in the Pinellas County Jail Sunday morning. No bond amount has been set.
