1 Person Confirmed Dead In Crash

SHADY HILLS - SHADY HILLS - A dump truck collided with a Ford Mustang on Shady Hills Boulevard on Monday afternoon, killing at least one person.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers were called to the wreck about 4:30 p.m. Paramedics pronounced one person dead about 10 minutes later, said patrol Sgt. Steve Gaskins.
Reports are that a second person died in the wreck, but traffic homicide investigators had not confirmed that as of press time.
Investigators did not release any information Monday evening about the people involved in the wreck or how it happened.
Traffic was reduced to one lane near the crash site, about two miles north of State Road 52 in north-central Pasco County. For updates on this story, go to pasco.tbo.com.
