Port Richey Doctor Guilty Of Possessing, Receiving Child Porn

TAMPA - A Port Richey pain doctor was convicted today on six charges of possessing and receiving child pornography.

U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Kovachevich ordered that the doctor, Richard Carino, be taken into custody after the verdict. She set the sentencing for Oct. 3.

Investigators say they found images of children as young as 6 on his office and home computers.

Carino's medical license has been indefinitely suspended by the Florida Department of Health.

Carino was turned in to law enforcement by his then-wife, Autumn, who testified against him at his trial.
