ST. PETERSBURG - Police on Sunday released the name of a taxi driver who was found dead over the weekend.
The St. Petersburg Police Department, which is working the case as a homicide, said Linda Faison was found outside Azalea Middle School, 7855 22nd Ave. N., Saturday morning.
Faison, 39, was a Yellow Cab driver who was living at a local motel, police said. She apparently was going through a divorce from her husband who lives in Orlando.
Police said a neighbor found Faison's body around 7:49 a.m. Saturday. Her abandoned cab turned up in South Pasadena. Faison picked up a cab fare sometime after 5 a.m. Saturday, police said.
