Hillsborough Deputies: Dad Choked Family Cat To Death

TAMPA - Hillsborough County deputies say a man fatally choked the family cat in front of his wife and two daughters, ages 7 and 1.
Lazaro Lastra, 36, choked the animal on Sunday while saying, "This is what happens when you don't listen to me," according to an affidavit.
Lastra, of 2144 S. 78th St., Tampa, was held without bail at Orient Road Jail today. He is charged with felony animal cruelty, felony child abuse, misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor battery.
The affidavit states that Lastra struck his wife on top of her head during the incident at their home about 10:20 p.m. Sunday.
The sheriff's office said no other information was available today as to what triggered the incident.

Where are these demon-possesed people coming from? What happened? Did his wife or kids breathe too many times? Take more than one second to respond to his drill sergeant orders? Sad to say, my dad was a little that way. Never choked the cat to death, but threw the dogs across the room, here and there. Poor dogs would hide behind me, alas, looking for help from a 10 yo. Fear is certainly one way to control a family, demanding/forcing respect.
Those kids will be alright.......I turned out okay. I finally stood up to that abuser at 18, and never stopped after that. Demented fxcker.

Only one time, around 50 years ago, a snake bit me , in the hand. While it bit, I grabbed it with the other hand and strangled it. It died, I lived. I never did like viscious critters, and I love good critters, and feed them too.
